Labolic Kava Kava is a preparation containing an extract from a naturally occurring plant that has been proven to exert broad mood-toning and regenerative effects.
Kava Kava – it is a species of a tropical shrub, which, due to relaxing and healing effects, has been known for many years in the culture of the Pacific islands. The main active compounds found in the plant are kavalactones which are believed to have anxiolytic, sedative, relaxing, and pro-cognitive properties. It is postulated that these effects arise from the influence of the compounds on GABA-A receptors, MAO-B activity, and norepinephrine reuptake.
These days are marked by a constant pursuit of perfection. Unfortunately, in a continuous race, sometimes there is not enough time to take a closer look at our health condition, and thus focus more attention on regeneration. Seeing the growing interest in neurosupplementation as one of the methods of supporting everyday life, manufacturers respond to the expectations of the market by offering newer and newer preparations.
As is known, better regeneration means a better quality of sleep. It can be improved by Kava kava extract. Studies have shown that it can be particularly useful in states of fatigue. This is reflected by the intensification of delta wave activity, characteristic of the NREM sleep phase, i.e. the period of the most intense regeneration of the organism. It is worth adding that the regular use of the extract does not result in the development of tolerance, so it is possible to use similar doses continuously.
Unfortunately, the dizzying pace of life often results in various kinds of mental disorders. One of them is chronic anxiety associated with, e.g., constant pressure and a sense of possible failure, which may be accompanied by somatic symptoms. As it turns out, kava kava extract has anxiolytic potential, alleviating the feeling of somatic indicators of anxiety. Besides, it helps to stabilize the emotional state and does not disturb cognitive functions, supporting the ability to concentrate.
To sum up, Labolic Kava Kava is a supplement that may provide considerable support for people who are struggling with regeneration problems, mood swings or an excessive number of stressful situations.
The preparation is intended mainly for people who struggle with chronic fatigue caused by ineffective regeneration or feel anxious and live under constant stress.
It will be a good idea to complement the supplementation with B vitamins, magnesium, and calcium, but above all, to ensure the hygiene of sleep and emotional life. If you are taking any medications, consult your doctor before starting the supplementation.

It is the root contains many active substances with a slight psychoactive, spasmolytic and anxiolytic, i.e. Kavalactones (mainly methysticin, yangonin, kavain, marindinin and their dihydro-deriavatives). Despite this is not qualified as addictive drug.
The mechanism of Kava-Kava
The mechanism of action of this plant is complex and not entirely understood. At the moment, it is known that Kava works by GABA-A receptors nerve ends stimulates the secretion of FSH (follicle stimulating hormone), inhibit monoamine oxidase activity in the brain, i.e. enzyme degrading lots of neurotransmitter having the structure amine.
Many clinical studies have confirmed anxiolytic effects, anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, sedative, calming, centrally relaxing muscles, putting the plant on a par with such medicines as opipramol and Buspirone - the comparison was made in the testing of the German drug Maoni, which included just a standardized extract of kava. Moreover, scientists study the operation of the plant for the suppression of the symptoms of menopause in women.
Properties and used kava-kava
Kava - like many users are reporting - can cause slight euphoria, enhance mood and stimulate eloquence. It creates a state carefree, retaining the brightness and sharpness of mind and the ability to concentrate attention, which is a much better option than drinking alcohol. It is recommended that the use of kava in the states of fear, anxiety, increased tension and emotional symptoms nervous-anxiety.
Kava in reducing the symptoms of menopause
Researchers in 1990 studied the effects of an extract of Kava Kava for anxiety and some vegetative symptoms among women (approx. 52 years of age) undergoing menopause. Treatment lasted 12 weeks, the dosage was 60 mg per day kavalactones. Using a specialized index (KI - Kupperman index, ASI - an index of anxiety) reported beneficial effects of therapy after 4 weeks of starting supplementation. Subsequent studies also confirmed the effect of reducing anxiety. Furthermore, kava showed a synergism in combination with hormone replacement therapy (HRT), including the use of estrogens and progestogens.
