  2. Hi David, I am supplementing NALT and am wondering about the dosage. Generally I take 1-300 capsule and taking 2 per day goes above a 500 mg recommended dose.

    Do you think using 600 mg per day is too much to be safe for a 3-month timeframe?

      It shouldn’t be too much. If you feel okay with slightly higher dosage then go for it!

      • Thank you David, I decided to step back to just the 300 mg NALT as I’m seeing some benefits at this dose, with the addition of free form amino acids, as well as a couple other supplements.
        I may step up the NALT in the future when I am no longer taking several other supplements.

    When I look up NALT, although the recommended dose is 350-600mg, it is stated that 100-150mg per lb. So what is right?

    • 100-150mg per lb of bodyweight is in my opinion highly overstated.

      Actually, the dose of L-Tyrosine in most of the clinical trials was approximately 7 grams per day. Taking into account the higher bioavailability of NALT, and other recommendations I would not pass the 1 gram per day dosage.
