Phenylalanine – support for dopamine production

Phenylalanine is an organic chemical compound belonging to the essential amino acids. So we do not produce it ourselves, but we have to deliver it either with food or with proper supplementation.It is the basic building block of proteins. The amino acid is not produced by the body, but we can provide it in a proper diet by eating meat, fish and dairy products. As for the daily intake, it is not more than 14 mg per 1 kg of body weight, but not more than 500 mg per day. A deficiency of this amino acid can have a significant impact on the occurrence of depression, on the reduction of intellectual capacity, or on long-term memory disorders. Excess, in turn, affects the changing moods, nervous breakdown, menstrual disorders. During pregnancy, a high level may impair the vital functions of the fetus.,

When it comes to physicality, it increases endurance and accelerates weight loss processes. What is also important is participation in the synthesis of thyroid hormones.
