Vitamin U – a new vitamin was found?

The purifying and de-acidifying effect of cabbage is well-known. Can he have other healing properties? It turns out that yes. All this thanks to vitamin U, discovered in the mid-twentieth century. Its health properties are quite surprising. What benefits does it bring? Does drinking inconspicuous cabbage juice, a source of unknown vitamin U, actually work so well?  

A brief history of welcome to U

Vitamin U, or S-Adenosyl-Methionine, was first isolated from raw cabbage leaves in 1966. Supporters of vitamin, a derivative of the methionine amino acid, however, use evidence of its effects. One of them is the extraordinary story of Jay Kordich.

In the 1950s, Kordich worked with Dr. Cheney, healing ulcers of the stomach and duodenum with the help of white cabbage juice (he treated, inter alia, the then prisoners of Alcatraz).

The result of this method was undeniable - in some cases the ulcers disappeared within a week, in other cases the pain was significantly reduced. A bladder tumor was detected in Kordich. The doctor recommended him to drink fruit and vegetable juices. After some time the patient dealt with cancer irretrievably.  Vegetables and fruits, as well as juices made from them, are very much taken. No diet can do without them.

The effect of vitamin U  

How does the mysterious vitamin U, contained in cabbage juice, work?

  • It can prevent stomach ulcers and duodenal ulcers, protecting cells.
  • It improves the appearance and functioning of the skin.
  • Cabbage leaves have been used for all kinds of wounds, ulcers, bites and burns for years.

  • Vitamin U, contained in the juice of white cabbage (also sauerkraut) stimulates the growth of cells in human skin - accelerates wound healing.
  • Sauerkraut juice also has antifungal and anticancer effects.

The cosmetics and aesthetic industry quickly used the properties of vitamin U, which is why it has become a base of cosmetics and beauty treatments. It is a natural way to prevent skin aging and ensure its healthy, radiant appearance. Nothing is more likely to affect mature and irritated skin than traditional cabbage wraps.

White cabbage juice for slimming  

It turns out that the juice of white - raw and sauerkraut - cabbage can become a great ally in weight loss. Why?

Juice, especially from sauerkraut, can reduce the absorption of fats into the body. It also provides many beneficial bacterial strains that have a great effect on the digestive system. Its proper functioning is one of the most important elements of reducing body fat.

The juice of white cabbage perfectly cleanses the body, removing toxins and eliminating the effects of free radicals. It is not without reason that the cabbage diet has beaten all popularity records for many years.  If you want to lose weight healthy and effective, try white and sauerkraut juice. Slimming will be more pleasant because the juice also has many flavors. Incorporating it into your daily diet allows you to get a slim figure faster.

Which cabbage juice to choose?  

Juice from sauerkraut and raw cabbage has an excellent effect on the condition, health and well-being of the exerciser. Sauerkraut juice can be found on shop shelves, or you can prepare it yourself. Certainly, it is worth introducing cabbage into your daily diet. It can be cooked in the form of one-pot dishes and salads. Ways to provide vitamin U are plenty!
