Smart Caffeine Smart Caffeine

The supplement BRAWN Smart Caffeine is a unique combination of caffeine and L-theanine supported by vitamin B12 and magnesium, the main aim of which is supporting concentration, work effectiveness and cognitive functions of the brain in the periods of intensive intellectual effort.

The product is addressed especially to people, who are often subjected to intellectual effort, work under pressure or who are exposed to long-lasting stress, which as widely known is not conducive to mental efficiency and well-being. The combination of caffeine and L-theanine effectively refreshes the brain, supports concentration and cognitive functions of the brain, thanks to which a user of this supplement may work more effectively and is more resistant to unfavorable factors. Moreover, the product by the company BRAWN is devoid of negative side-effects, known from other, popular stimulants – it does not fuddle, does not cause absent-mindedness or irritation – it has relaxing and calming effect.

Caffeine
It is definitely the most popular and the most commonly used stimulant present in daily lives of the majority of people. It stimulates the central nervous system, decreases the feeling of fatigue and invigorates the brain. It owes its effectiveness to high bioavailability for the organism and relatively short time needed to achieve the activity in the organism (6-8 minutes). It happens, as caffeine almost immediately permeates to the bloodstream and to the nervous system. Thanks to its structure analogous to adenosine, it crosses blood/brain barrier without any problem and binds with appropriate receptors. People using this substance are also characterized with higher concentration, efficiency and shorter reaction time. Due to wide spectrum of applications of caffeine, we will focus on its properties in the context of the presented supplement.

The influence of caffeine on the organism
This substance affects the organism in several ways. The basic one is blocking adenosine receptors (A1 and A2), thanks to which the activity of the central nervous system is increased. Along with blocking the receptors, the level of neurotransmitters is increased (noradrenaline, acetylcholine and dopamine), which influences general stimulation of the organism, the improvement of mood and the increase of the nervous system and brain work. Moreover, caffeine influences cardiovascular system – increased pace of noradrenaline release is reflected in increased pulse, widened blood vessels and increased effectiveness of glucose metabolism – the main “fuel” for the brain. Overall, a person after using this substance is more alert, better able to concentrate and memorize and reacts in a shorter period of time. In a word, it is a substance with nootropic effect – stimulating the nervous system to activate key psychological processes such as consciousness or memorization. Moreover, caffeine positively influences mood and eliminates the feeling of fatigue.

L-theanine
It is classified to amino acids and naturally occurs in green tea leaves. Similarly to caffeine it is characterized with high bioavailability for the organism – it is easily absorbed, quickly reaches the bloodstream and without any problem crosses blood/brain barrier, thanks to which it quickly starts to influence the nervous system. Its main property is the influence on the relation between neurotransmitters (dopamine, serotonin and gamma-aminobutyric acid), which is directly reflected in the improvement of mental abilities in combination with relaxing effect. L-theanine, similarly to caffeine, is therefore a substance with nootropic effect.

L-theanine also shows the potential to modulate alpha brain waves, thanks to which to a large extent it has calming and relaxing effect. In spite of this, however, it does not limit the activity of the brain, quite the contrary – when we are in a good mood and do not feel pressure, we are able to work more effectively and efficiently. It is also a precursor of serotonin – a basic neurotransmitter when it comes to well-being.

The influence of l-theanine on the brain and nervous system
Among the main properties of this substance there are: the influence on the activity of brain waves and the level of the most important neurotransmitters. First of all, it improves the intensity of alpha waves, which is reflected in the increased feeling of relaxation and lower stress level. Apart from this, l-theanine increases the activity of GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), limits the secretion of cortisol (stress hormone) inhibiting the agitation of adrenal cortex and stimulates the production of proteins essential for the proper growth of neurons. The above properties positively influence the reduction of psychological tension, improve well-being and fight depression and anxiety. They also have a positive influence on the quality of sleep, thanks to which night rest brings better results.

Moreover, this substance positively influences the functioning of the brain in the scope of work efficiency, concentration, memorizing and creativity. People using l-theanine exhibit higher abilities to learn, process information faster and are able to perform complicated thinking processes more effectively (such as calculations in the head). All of this, in combination with lowering stress level and nervous tension is a guarantee of the clarity of mind, ready to face every task. It also helps to stay calm in crisis situations requiring fast decision making under the influence of stress.

Why „Smart” Caffeine?
The uniqueness of the supplement by the company BRAWN consists in combining these two, synergistically working and mutually complementary ingredients. Both these substances not only mutually strengthen their effects, but also limit negative consequences. Thanks to applying l-theanine we may fully enjoy the positive effects of caffeine without the typical risk of irritation or anxiety. L-theanine in turn, combined with caffeine demonstrates even better effect, promoting increased cognitive activity of the brain. Apart from this, in order to maximize the potential of the main ingredients, the producer added to the supplement two auxiliary substances – vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) and magnesium

Vitamin B12 contained in the supplement in the best assimilable form of methylcobalamin, also called a “red vitamin”, similarly to other vitamins from B group, it positively influences nervous and circulatory systems and takes active part in metabolic processes. The influence of cobalamin on the nervous system consists in its presence in brain cells, on which the production of phospholipid is dependent, conditioning proper nerve conduction. It also takes part in the synthesis of neurotransmitters responsible for good memory and proper cognitive functions.

It is commonly known that caffeine, by its diuretic effect, contributes to increased elimination of such elements as magnesium from the organism. Deficits of this microelement may result in, among others, nervousness, irritation and sleep problems. Thanks to including magnesium in the composition of the preparations, the producer took care about minimizing this negative influence of caffeine on the level of magnesium in the organism, thanks to which using the supplement is even more effective.

Summing up, the preparation Smart Caffeine allows to achieve two seemingly contradictory states of the organism – on the one hand it ensures mind sharpness, stimulation and increased cognitive abilities and on the other hand it decreases stress, nervous tension, improving mood and calming down. This is possible thanks to the unique combination of the active components (caffeine and l-theanine) with the support of vitamin B12 and magnesium.

The supplement constitutes an ideal and necessary position for every person whose work requires intensive intellectual effort or who is prone to chronic stress. It is also especially recommended to students and pupils in the periods of intensive study. It will work well also for sportsmen, whose regeneration suffers as a result of daily duties, hard trainings and little sleep.

Caffeine

Information

Caffeine (1,3,7-trimethylxanthine, 1-methylotheobromine) is a purine alkaloid occurring in the natural state in plants (Coffea arabica, Camelia sinensis, Paulinia cupana, Ilex paraguariensis), which acts as a natural pesticide, acting toxic to insects. Peculiar smell and taste also deters herbivores. Caffeine in the body inhibits the adenosine receptors in the brain, fighting fatigue and allowing for action activation. It has a beneficial effect on the metabolism of oxygen, which increases the exercise capacity (strength and endurance) and rapid post-workout recovery. In the sports supplementation, caffeine is used as a stimulant nervous system. It has the thermogenic potential and in combination with other substances (e.g. Polyphenols, both occurring in coffee beans, such as cocoa beans, tea leaves and mate) can effectively participate in the reduction of body fat. It is included in many dietary stimulants (creatine stacks, no-boosters, beverages). It is a component of fat burners. It is also in the form of mono-preparation supplements.
Dosage: 100-600 mg per day. Due to the long release of activity should not be used in the evening, before
sleep.

Methylcobalamin

Information

What is methylcobalamin?

Methylcobalamin is a biologically active form of vitamin B12. It is one of the two forms of this vitamin that may be used as cofactors in various reactions. It differs from popular cyanocobalamin in the presence of methyl group instead of cyanide, thanks to which it releases the organism from the need of neutralizing this harmful factor.

The methyl group from methylcobalamin may be transferred to homocysteine, thanks to which it comes back in the form of methionine in order to be further converted to SAMe, which is the main donor of methyl groups in our organism. These methyl groups may be then used in the processes of creatine production, in neurotransmitter metabolism and as DNA methylation, thanks to which we achieve proper energy level, better well-being and generally better condition of the organism. B12 is a coenzyme for three enzymes: isomerase, methyltransferase and dehalogenase.

Apart from the influence on the nervous system, the supply of vitamin B12 is also very important for the proper synthesis of red cells as well as hemoglobin and anemia prevention.

Methylcobalamin in mono-supplements and complex vitamin preparations may be found in the offer of muscle-zone.pl.

Magnesium

Information

Magnesium (element from the group of alkaline earth metals, atomic no. 12, a chemical symbol - Mg), one of the most important health microelements, participates in the synthesis process of the disintegration of high energy compounds and processes of transformation of hydrocarbons and fats. It affects the dilation of blood vessels and lower blood pressure, prevents hypercoagulable state. Shortages affect cardiac arrhythmias, malignant muscle cramps, insomnia and anxiety. It is a component of many dietary supplements and found in foods such as whole grain bread, legumes, buckwheat, rice, fish, meat, as well as chocolate, cocoa and nuts.
Dosage of 100 - 500 mg / day
