You have got questions about the product

In the last batches of Apollo's Hegemony products, another glue was used for lids under the caps. The glue is weaker than previously used, this is why the lid often stays inside the cap when unscrewing the bottle. This does not affect the quality of products because during storage the lid adheres to the bottle and protects its contents.

  • Deglycyrrhizinated licorice root extract with aloe
  • Facilitates the removal of respiratory tract secretions
  • Helpful for stomach ulcers and digestive problems
  • Inhibits the development of H. pylori and shows anti-inflammatory effects
  • Supports immunity and shows antihistamine action

Apollo's Hegemony DGL + Aloe Vera is a dietary supplement containing a highly concentrated, glycyrrhizin-free licorice root extract, enriched with aloe vera. Among the wide spectrum of its activity, the most important is the alleviation of gastrointestinal and respiratory ailments.

Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) is a popular medicinal plant originating in Asia, from which over 100 different active substances were isolated, such as amino acids, phytosterols, polysaccharides, and saponins. It owes its sweet taste (up to 50 times stronger than sugar) to glycyrrhizin. To avoid an undesirable increase in blood pressure that may be caused by an excess of this compound, supplements usually contain deglycinized licorice (DGL).

Aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis) has been used for centuries for medicinal purposes. Its flesh consisting of up to 98% of water, abounds in many valuable components – endo- and exogenous amino acids, polypeptides, polysaccharides, and plant enzymes. It is them that make aloe vera such a valuable raw material, both in medicine and cosmetics.

Support for digestive health
Licorice extract is used as an adjuvant in the treatment of gastric and duodenal peptic ulcers. Its antibacterial properties are used in the therapy against Helicobacter pylori – a bacterium isolated from the inflamed stomach mucosa, ulcers, and even cancerous lesions.

Aloe vera also has a beneficial effect on the digestive system – it has anti-inflammatory properties and promotes the growth of symbiotic bacteria.

Note that licorice, due to its light laxative effect, may relieve bloating, constipation or indigestion. Anthraquinones found in aloe enhance this effect by supporting metabolism.

Strengthening of the immune functions
The active substances found in licorice stimulate the production of interferon – a protein that, following the invasion of pathogenic microorganisms, stimulates the activity of macrophages and NK cells.

Licorice and aloe are also useful for many recurrent respiratory illnesses. The expectorant and thinning effect of licorice helps to remove residual secretions, whereas the antihistamine effects alleviate the troublesome symptoms of allergies and asthma.

To sum up, Apollo's Hegemony DGL + Aloe Vera is a dietary supplement that uses the healing potential of natural goods. It is especially recommended for people struggling with digestive and respiratory problems.

Aloe vera

Aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis Mill.) is a tropical and subtropical plant originating from Mediterranean countries, which finds application mainly in dermatology and cosmetology (topical effect) and oral application positively influences the functioning of the digestive system.

The flesh of aloe leaves is mainly composed of water (96%), however, the remaining 4% is constituted by a concentrated dose of nutrients and substances with high biological activity. Aloe contains i.a. fiber, fatty acids, amino acids (including 7 exogenous amino acids), polysaccharides, glycoproteins, plant enzymes (including SOD - superoxide dismutase) as well as vitamins and mineral ingredients.

The internal activity of aloe is mainly directed at regulating the work of the digestive system. Aloe has antibacterial and antifungal effect, supports the treatment of stomach ulcers, alleviates inflammations, facilitates the organism’s detoxification and positively influences microflora of the digestive system, stimulating the growth of probiotic bacteria.

External activity of aloe - on skin - contributes to strengthening the barrier of epidermis and also facilitates repair processes in skin, counteracts infections, stimulates the production of new collagen fibers. Additionally, it has softening and shielding effect.
