Liposol Liposomal Vitamin K2 + D3 is a top-quality dietary supplement with the most bioavaliable form of vitamins on the market which help maintain the body’s homeostasis. They act especially on the motor, cardiovascular and immune system.
The supplement is delivered in liquid form which, combined with the formula Liposol™, ensures superior absorption of the active ingredients. This production technology consists in enclosing vitamin K2 and D3 in liposomes which are structurally similar to cell membrane. As a consequence, they are not digested and easily get into tissues where they can fulfil their biological roles. The product comes in a white bottle which protects liposomes from photooxidation.
Vitamin K2 as VitaMK7™, made via fermentation by Bacillus Subtilis Natto, is a patented formula, approved by the European Food Safety Authority. The vitamin has been shown to support normal bone mineralisation and prevent pathological changes in blood vessels.
Vitamin D3 is a compound produced naturally in the body whose deficiency is caused by reduced exposure to sunlight during autumn and winter. Its supplementation is extremely helpful in maintaining healthy bones and joints and normal immune function.
Support for the osteoarticular system
Nowadays, living in a society requires a very high degree of flexibility and mobility. Any problems with the osteoarticular system are debilitating. A poor diet, lack of rest or tiring physical work are factors which weaken its structure and may lead to the development of various diseases and disorders.
Many studies have shown that targeted supplements have a positive impact on bone and joint health. The most popular of these substances is vitamin D, whose basic function is to increase calcium absorption in the intestines and kidneys. This leads to the formation of calcium hydroxyapatite crystals which are components of supporting tissues.
Vitamin K2 is also involved in bone remodelling. It has been observed to stimulate the proliferation of osteoblasts (cells which produce the components of bone matrix), thereby taking part in the activation of osteocalcin.
The cooperation of both vitamins significantly increases bone mechanical strength, preventing bone loss which may lead to fractures.
Healthy cardiovascular system
The cardiovascular system comprises the network of arteries and veins and the lift-and-force pump known as the heart. Their task is to effectively transport nutrient-rich blood to tissues and transfer metabolic wastes to the body’s filtering organs. Over time, this efficient hydraulic system slowly fails. However, you can easily delay these processes.
The most common cardiovascular condition which develops over years is atherosclerosis. High concentrations of lipids and calcium cations combined with inflammation in large blood vessels are factors which promote the build up of atheroslerotic plaque. With the course of time, it may lead to the occlusion of an arterial lumen due to, among others, plaque rupture (e.g. as a result of high blood pressure) and blood clot formation. This may result in a fatal heart attack or brain stroke.
Just a small change in a diet or enriching it with specific substances allows you to significantly reduce the risk of these conditions. Vitamin K2 has been shown to be one of these substances. Its function is to remove calcium cations and thus delay plaque buildup. What is more, this helps lower blood pressure because calcium is involved in the contraction of vascular smooth muscle. This prevents also blood coagulation in the artery which was ruptured due to atherosclerosis because calcium cations are one of the factors of blood coagulation cascade. Because of that, their absence may impair blood clot formation.
Autumn and winter are a real challenge for the immune system. Seasonal fluctuations in temperature and being in contact with persons who have a cold or flu do not aid its recovery and excessive exposure to antigens may significantly weaken this system.
The significant role of vitamin D in boosting immunity is being emphasised more and more frequently. Studies have shown that it may be especially important in fighting viral infections. Scientists report also that it contributes to reversing autoimmune diseases, such as asthma and intestinal inflammation, because it functions as a parahormone. As a result, immuncompetent cells recognize pathogenic microorganisms more easily or do not react to self antigens.
To sum up, Liposol Liposomal Vitamin K2 + D3 is a supplement which fully supports vital body functions, especially by promoting a healthy osteoarticular, cardiovascular and immune system. Its liposomal formula helped maximise the absorption of bioactive substances, so you can adjust the dosage to your needs.
The supplement is designed for persons who suffer from musculoskeletal disorders or want to fully support healthy bones and promote vascular health and the body’s immune function. Vitamin D3 intake is indicated especially for postmenopausal women due to low bone mineral density.
In order to improve bioavailability, take the supplement preferably with a fat-containing meal because vitamin K2 and D3 are lipid-soluble compounds.
LIPOSOL™ is a line of unique dietary supplements produced by the recognized Polish pharmaceutical company, MedicaLine. All supplements in this series are highly absorbable and are characterized by very high quality and excellent bioavailability. They are produced based on certified raw materials, free from genetically modified ingredients. What is Vitamin K2?
Vitamin K2 belongs to fat-soluble vitamins It is an important activator of many enzymes and proteins It shows a positive action on calcium balance by activating MGP protein and osteocalcin. This results in the removal of calcium deposits from blood vessel walls and transport of ions of this element to the area where it fulfills its function – teeth and bones. It reduces therefore the calcification of blood vessels and thus the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Moreover, it is a constituent of coagulation factors and cosequently prevents haemorrhages. It shows a synergistic action in combination with vitamin D and magnesium.
Vitamin K2 in the form of a dietary supplement of renowned brands e.g. Now Foods, Swanson, Life Extension, Jarrow Formulas and Thorne Research) can be found in formulas available at www.muscle-zone.pl
What is menaquinone-7?
Menaquinone-7 is a term used for long-chain form of vitamin K2, having seven isoprene residues in the side chain. Contrary to another popular form MK-4, it is not synthesized in tissues, however, it may be produced in the intestines by means of the conversion from vitamin K1 by intestinal bacteria.
It exhibits especially positive influence on the health of the circulatory system, especially by lowering the risk of atherosclerosis and heart attacks. It owes this effect mainly to osteocalcin, activated by vitamin K2. This hormone is responsible among others for the transport of calcium to bones, which counteracts its storage in soft tissues, decreasing at the same time the probability of blood vessel calcification and the creation of atherosclerotic plaques. K2 MK-7 also contributes to protecting the nervous system, securing neurons from excitotoxicity induced by excessive activity of glutamate and reducing the consequences of excessively low level of glutathione.
Vitamin K2 in the form of menaquinone-7 is a very popular additive to supplements with vitamin D3, due to the synergy of effects and reducing potential negative effects of applying higher doses of cholecalciferol.
Menaquinone-7 may be found both in monopreparations and complex supplements in the offer of muscle-zone.pl.
Vitamin D belongs to fat soluble vitamins, occurs in three forms: calciferol (vitamin D1) ergocalciferol (vitamin D2) and cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), it is formed under the action of sunlight for at least 15 minutes per day. In the absence of sunlight it should be administered in the diet in the form of fish oil (Vitamin A + D3) and fish oils. It is responsible for the absorption of calcium and phosphorus. It is the building substance of bone tissue particularly necessary during pregnancy, childhood, and for athletes. It is a component of dietary supplements and nutrients among competetive athletes. Deficiency of vitamin D causes children growth inhibition, and rickets.
For adults - deficiency causes osteomalacia.
Excess of vitamin D causes headaches, alopecia, nausea, drowsiness, blurred vision, pain in the long bones, the deposition of calcium deposits.
Dosage: 400 IU units during the day.
Cholecalciferol, or vitamin D3, is an organic chemical that belongs to the family of D vitamins. It is naturally found in fatty fish, fish oil, egg yolks, milk and dairy products. It is also synthesized in the human body. It is formed from 7-dehydrocholesterol present in the keratinocytes of the spinous and the basal layers of the epidermis, and a pre-requisite for initiating this process is the action of 290-315 nm wavelength UVB radiation on the skin.
Cholecalciferol is a biologically inactive compound. In the body, it undergoes enzymatic hydroxylation – first in the liver, with the participation of 25-hydroxylase, when calcidiol is formed and secondly in the kidneys, where under the influence of 1-α-hydroxylase, calcidiol is converted into the final active form – calcitriol.
The most important role of vitamin D3 in the body is the regulation of calcium-phosphate metabolism, which directly affects normal skeletal mineralization. In addition, it is involved in cell proliferation and differentiation, insulin secretion, as well as in some functions of the nervous, endocrine and immune systems.
Cholecalciferol is the most popular form of vitamin D used in dietary supplements. Studies show that supplementation with vitamin D in this form most effectively and rapidly raises the level of 25 (OH) D3 – a metabolite that is a marker of the level of vitamin D in the body.
Dosage: according to RDI standards for individual age groups.
