  • Replenishes protein deficiency in people on a vegan diet
  • Helps to rebuild muscle protein
  • Supports the functioning of the immune system
  • Supports the alleviation of inflammation
  • Supports proper bowel function

MZ Glutamine is a dietary supplement containing easily digestible L-glutamine in powder. The powdered form allows the adjustment of the appropriate individual supplementation dose.

L-glutamine is a relatively essential amino acid present in the animal-derived protein. The body's requirement for glutamine increases during illness and injury. It is an energetic substrate for intestinal cells and the immune system, which is why it exerts a beneficial effect on both. It is also necessary for rebuilding muscle protein in people after injuries and in diseases accompanied by muscular dystrophy.

Intestinal regeneration
Glutamine supplementation prevents increased intestinal permeability and promotes development of beneficial intestinal microflora. This leads to the improvement of bowel function, absorption of nutrients, and overall health.

Immune system support
Glutamine is used by immune cells as an energy substrate. It stimulates their multiplication, thus helping to strengthen the immune system. However, immune cells are not able to synthesize glutamine, so it must be supplied externally.

Optimal recovery
The requirement for glutamine within the kidneys, immune cells or intestinal mucosa increases in case of cachexia, infection or injury. Glutamine supplementation protects muscle proteins against breakdown, as well as supports the body in the fight against the disease by modulating the immune system and silencing the inflammatory reaction.

To sum up, MZ Glutamine is a supplement recommended in case of deficiencies and increased demand for protein, to accelerate regeneration, especially for physically active people and after muscle injuries, as well as to support intestinal health and the immune system.

L-glutamine - amino acid building endogenous proteins, glutamic acid amide. In the human body it is responsible for the synthesis of proteins, acid-base balance and removing ammonia outside of the organism. With the shortage of energy taken from the muscle tissue, glutamine with alanine participate in the process of gluconeogenesis, and participate in the production of glucose substrate. L-glutamine has a direct impact on the proper functioning of the digestive system and immunity of the organism. Participates in the synthesis of one of the most powerful antioxidant - glutathione. It has anti-catabolic potential. It is found naturally in foods of animal and vegetable origin and high protein supplements. Used as mono-preparation or multi-component amino-acid supplements and supplements enhancing biological recovery after exercises, often in combination with BCAA.
Dosage: 5-20 g per day (portioned during the day, and after training and waking up). The minimum dose used in supplementation is 2-15g per 1 serving.
