WHO ARE WE?

MZ-Store S.A. was established as a merger of companies that have existed in the market for many years, operating the muscle-zone brand and later mz-store. In 2021 and 2022, the business experienced a severe crisis, caused by a number of factors, with Brexit and the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic at the forefront. These problems coincided temporarily with an investment in its own production facility, making the process of returning to stable market condition all the more difficult. However, 2023 was already a year of continued growth for MZ-Store.

May 2023 saw the relocation of the production facility to a new, larger location, which, combined with investment in more machinery, resulted in a significant increase in production efficiency.

WHEREARE WE HEADING?

The volumes of products produced at MZ-Store S.A. lead to the conclusion that it is still an early-stage production, but it is worth remembering that since its inception, the production part of MZ-Store has been exclusively concerned with meeting the retail needs of its own brands. They now account for the bulk of the store's turnover (about 70-75%) and almost all products (more than 90%) of own brands, are produced "from A to Z" at MZ-Store S.A.'s production facility. Shifting the store's stocking from external contracts to in-house production has also made it possible to increase sales margins. This, as well as a nominal increase in sales of more than 50% in 2023 compared to 2022, made it possible to almost double store stocking. Similar growth continues in the first quarter of 2024.



The enlargement of warehouses, on the one hand, undoubtedly resulted in a marked reduction in turnover rates across the business, but on the other hand, it gave the company the stability it needed to move on to the next stage of investment.


DIRECTION OF DEVELOPMENT

Current investments are primarily aimed at modernizing the company's own sales channels and brands and eliminating further risk factors: more sales channels, opening foreign markets, stabilizing the assortment offer, secure sources of supply.

MZ's existing store, especially its mobile version, as well as the marketing activities around the store were outdated and neglected in recent years due to lack of funds. Therefore, they are undergoing a major overhaul, which aims to attract more customers and make it easier for them to navigate the site and close the sales funnel.


The second direction of development is to open up foreign markets, particularly through sales and logistics platforms provided by the world's largest company, Amazon. By doing so, MZ-Store S.A. increases its base of potential customers, increases the possibility of assortment rotation (different food regulations in different countries of the world), and becomes independent of volatility in the Polish or any other market.


The third direction is to further increase production efficiency and optimize the private label assortment - rejecting products that do not show potential, modifying the composition of some of them, changing the graphic design of entire product lines. Efficiency gains will also include automating the production of product types different from those used to date. In addition to capsules, these will include tablets and powders, packaged not only in bottles, but also doypacks, sachets, sticks and cartons. Our goal is to be able to efficiently create relatively large batches of products according to any customer's request, as long as it concerns dietary supplements.



The fourth direction: ambassador partnerships. Create a line of products dedicated to influencers and sold in the MZ-Store S.A. store. This will significantly increase the promotional possibilities of the store and the products presented in it.


The fifth direction includes the development of wholesale sales of private labels, not only on the Polish market, but also on foreign markets - including contracts for exclusive distribution in certain countries, which include a minimum quarterly ordering clause. To this end, the store's B2B panel will be revamped, and the sales department will be expanded to include sales representatives.

The last direction, related to the increase in production efficiency, involves contract production, i.e. the execution of orders for the production of supplements for other entities, including those based on the production configurator, which allows the creation of own products on the modules provided by MZ-Store S.A.. The configurator will significantly increase the speed of execution compared to "ordinary" orders.




INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

We are proud to announce that as of 2023, our products are available on the Amazon platform, where they have been enthusiastically received by customers. Starting to sell on Amazon was an important step in the development of our company, enabling us to reach a wider audience in the global market.


Continuous expansion of available markets

Our presence on Amazon is constantly expanding. We consistently work to increase the availability of our products in various markets to ensure that as many customers as possible can benefit from our high-quality dietary supplements.



Plans for the future

We are not resting on our laurels and are already making ambitious plans for the future. Here's what we're planning:

  • JAPANESE MARKET: Starting and developing sales in the Japanese market is one of our priorities. The Japanese dietary supplement market is dynamic and growing, and we are ready to introduce our products there, meeting local requirements and customer expectations.
  • CANADA AND MEXICO: We also plan to start sales in Canada and Mexico to make our products available to customers in North America. Shipping from our logistics center in the US will allow us to deliver orders quickly and efficiently, ensuring the highest quality of service.

Our products are recognized in international markets. We distribute our brands to Dubai, Norway and Estonia, where they have earned the trust and appreciation of customers. Our distributors in these countries earn high revenues, thanks to the great quality of our products.

Faster production of powders

In order to increase efficiency and reduce powder production time, we are investing in modern technologies that will enable faster and more precise production of our products. Increasing production capacity will allow us to deliver more supplements in less time, while maintaining the highest quality.


Purchase of new equipment

Our plans include the purchase of modern equipment that will significantly improve the production process.

To further streamline the packaging and distribution process, we plan to purchase a modern packaging line, which will include:
  • enumerator - a device for precise counting of products.
  • capping machine-an automatic device for capping packages.
  • induction tunnel - for hermetically sealing packages.
  • date labeling machine - for accurate labeling and date marking.
  • feeding andreceiving tables - to streamline the process of feeding and receiving products.
