The main ingredients of the supplement are:
Pau D'Arco, or powdered bark from ant tree. It has strong antibiotic effects. It is effective against many pathogenic Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, but unlike synthetic antibiotics, it does not affect the population of desirable intestinal bacteria of the Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium kind. Moreover, lapachol, present in the ant tree bark, is a powerful antifungal substance, targeting mainly Candida albicans strains. It is believed that it interacts with the cell membrane of yeasts, which leads to their deactivation.

Additionally, Pau D'Arco has a beneficial effect on the immune system. It should be explained that the presence of Candida albicans in the organism is natural and does not threaten health, provided that the immune system is strong enough to keep the yeast in check and prevent excessive expansion.

Black walnut contains large amounts of juglone, which works well in the case of yeast infections. In one study, it was shown that it is as effective in fighting Candida strains as, available on prescription only, nystatin. Moreover, it kills not only Candida albicans, but up to 14 species and 48 different pathogenic strains of Candida. In addition, it has antiviral, antibacterial and antiparasitic properties.

Oregano oil is obtained from wild marjoram, one of the most popular spices. It is distinguished by an unprecedented wealth of pharmacologically active substances, mainly flavonoids, tannins, phytosterols, but also antioxidant vitamins and essential elements for the health. The most valuable compound isolated from oregano is carvacrol. It directly affects the cell membranes of pathogens, increasing their ion and proton permeability. In this way, the integrity of microorganisms pathogenic cells is distorted and their breakdown occurs. The antifungal activity of oregano oil is comparable to that of nystatin.

Caprylic acid is one of the medium-chain saturated fatty acids (MCT) with clinically proven fungistatic and bacteriostatic properties. It is widely used in the therapy of candidiasis due to the versatility and numerous mechanisms it uses to cause an effect. It can i.a. inhibit the growth of Candida albicans strains and limit their adhesion to the organism’s cells. Moreover, it promotes the disruption of bacterial biofilm, which hinders access to pathogens, and thus reduces the effectiveness of treatment of candidiasis and bacterial infections.

Biotin is one of the vitamins contained in a large group of B vitamins. It has a beneficial influence on the intestinal mucosa and promotes the restoration of the proper intestinal microflora. Scientists point to a possible correlation between biotin deficiency and increased susceptibility to Candida albicans infection. This is probably related to the dimorphism of these yeasts. There are studies suggesting that biotin has the ability to limit the conversion of yeast to the filamentous form, which more easily penetrates deeper into the tissues and promotes the spread of ringworm.

Apart from the aforementioned substances, the composition of the supplement was enriched with a small amount of: garlic, providing unique sulfide compounds with strong antimicrobial activity; olive leaf extract, which is a source of oleuropein, that has similar effects as antibiotics as well as it destroys pathogenic microorganisms and deprives them of their ability to adhere to cell walls; vilcacora extract, which has a strong immunostimulatory effect, and thus supports the strengthening of immunity, which is a guarantee of the organism’s homeostasis and maintaining the amount of Candida at an appropriately low level; and wormwood, which has strong antifungal and antiparasitic properties.
