Hepatica Aloe Vera Concentrate is a dietary supplement that contains freeze-dried juice from aloe leaf pulp, standardized for the content of polysaccharides. The preparation is very comfortable to use – in the form of easily swallowable capsules, free from any preservatives, and does not require refrigeration.
Aloe vera (Aloe vera L.) is a perennial naturally occurring in Africa and Asia Minor. It is considered a medicinal and cosmetic plant. Its leaves are particularly valued – thick, very juicy, with gel-like pulp. They consist mainly of water, but they also contain many valuable nutrients and biologically active substances.
The presented preparation provides the best of aloe vera. It was prepared using a unique technology, vacuum drying, which encompasses the removal of water from the pulp of the aloe leaves while retaining the most valuable bioactive substances. Their quantity is precisely defined – the juice is standardized to a minimum content of 7.5% of polysaccharides calculated as aloeverose – a key and best known bioactive compound.
Aloe is a treasury of substances with antioxidant activity. They effectively capture free radicals and reduce the risk of exposure of cells to oxidative stress. Experts believe that the antioxidant properties of the components present in the leaf pulp are the crucial biological mechanism responsible for the healing potential of the plant.
Aloe vera supplementation strengthens immunity. Animal studies have shown that the polysaccharides found in the plant (especially alloeverose) exert immunomodulatory properties. They stimulate the antigenic response of human lymphocytes and trigger leukocyte production in the spleen and bone marrow.
Aloe supports the digestive system. It has antibacterial activity and is deadly to strains of Helicobacter pylori, responsible for chronic inflammation of the gastric mucosa. Besides, aloe juice protects liver cells from damage, restores normal rhythm of bowel movements, and prevents constipation.
To sum up, Hepatica Aloe Vera Concentrate is a unique preparation based on aloe. It contains highly concentrated juice from the pulp of the leaves of the plant, with a specific content of active substances, enclosed in convenient capsules.
Aloe vera preparations are considered safe, nevertheless, make sure you do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Ingestion of large amounts may cause adverse reactions, especially within the digestive system. The supplement should be used temporarily, for approx. 30-40 days. After this time, consider taking a break.
Many specialists discourage the administration of aloe vera preparations for children. Moreover, aloe is not suitable for pregnant women – research suggests that it may be toxic and teratogenic to the fetus.
Diabetics must take into account that the supplement may lower blood sugar. Therefore, consult a doctor before implementing the product and, if supplementing, monitor serum glucose levels throughout the cycle.
