You have got questions about the product

  • Promotes the optimization of the melatonin production within the circadian rhythm
  • Reduces the time needed to fall asleep
  • Helps to minimize the effects of jet lag
  • Improves sleep pattern and parameters
  • Promotes healthy and restful sleep

MZ-Store Melatonin is a dietary supplement whose active ingredient helps to reduce the time necessary to fall asleep, and may also alleviate sleep disorders related to, e.g. shift work or change of time zones.

Melatonin (N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine) is a natural neurohormone produced by the pineal gland in response to darkness. Its main tasks are to regulate the daily rhythm of sleep and wakefulness. This cycle is controlled by the so-called biological clock – coordinated by the suprachiasmatic nuclei (SCN).

The level of melatonin rises in the evening (making us sleepy), whereas in the morning, it decreases, allowing you to maintain alertness and concentration (light inhibits its synthesis). With a properly "synchronized" circadian rhythm, our body produces the right amount of melatonin.

Nowadays, however, it is not difficult to disrupt biological rhythms. Too many duties, stress, hard work, poor sleep hygiene, as well as travel involving changes in time zones and elderly age are just some of the factors that disturb the production of this hormone. The effects of this are, among others, problems with falling asleep, insomnia, restless sleep, as well as malaise and lack of energy the next day.

Here comes melatonin in the form of a supplement. Due to its sleep facilitating properties, it can be used among people who perform shift work, struggle with sudden time zone syndrome (jet lag), are blind, or simply want to reduce the time needed to fall asleep. It can also be used by the elderly with lower levels of melatonin (melatonin concentration decreases with age), and in whom problems with falling asleep are often observed.

Moreover, melatonin is a substance with antioxidant and neuroprotective properties. It is also being examined with regards to its impact on eye health and the significance in the treatment of depression.

To sum up, MZ-Store Melatonin is an ideal solution for people who occasionally experience sleepless nights and are looking for an effective remedy that will shorten the time needed to fall asleep. The preparation may also help to overcome jet lag and support people who, due to the type of work or age, experience sleep problems.

Melatonin - resulting in the largest quantities in the pineal gland pinealocytes - indoleamine, naturally synthesized using N-acetylserotonin created previously with serotonin. Its characteristics manifested by interacting with melatonin receptors MT1, MT2 and MT3 and nuclear receptors. Affecting the operation of the biological clock, it regulates the processes occurring both in the diurnal, and long-term cycle, e.g. annually. It gives the body a signal to sleep. In preparing for the night's rest, system reduces the temperature of the body, lowers blood pressure, slows digestion and adjusts the rate of biochemical changes. Improves mood and attitude to life after a good night's sleep. It has a significant impact on the discharge of hormones of the hypothalamus, pituitary and gonads, particularly follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing (LH), this is reflected in the normalization of reproductive performance. By reducing the expression of ERa, inhibiting the association of estradiol ER-ERE for DNA, and reducing aromatase activity, shows an anti-estrogen action Optimizing growth hormone and cortisol levels, improves night renewal system, the growth of the desired structures and burning of excessive body fat.
