Aliness D-Ribose is a product containing 5 grams of D-ribose in one portion. Supplementing the compound supports energy production in skeletal muscles and in the heart, and it promotes regeneration processes after workout.

D-ribose is a pentose sugar that plays the role of a molecular core in the structure of ribonucleosides (e.g. adenosine, guanosine, cytidine, uridine), ribonucleotides (e.g. ATP, AMP, ADP), dinucleotides (NAD, FAD, NADP, NADPH), ribonucleic acid (RNA), coenzyme A (CoA) and vitamins B2 and B12. All functions performed by the above-mentioned compounds are evidence of how important D-ribose is in the human organism.

ATP has the role of the main transporter of chemical energy used in cell metabolism. When oxygen availability drops, there are deficiencies on the path of energy productions, the functions of mitochondria or blood flow are decreased, and demand for ATP becomes larger than its available level. The situation can be caused by both pathological conditions and excessive everyday workout or malfunctioning regeneration systems in the organism.

Ribose is used for producing the major fuel for cells, that is ATP. When you’re doing something that requires a lot of strength, you use much ATP. If you rely on your organism to regenerate the level of the high-energy substance, you can feel weak, even if you take enough time to rest.
