Prime Nutrition PWO-MAX is an advanced pre-workout supplement designed for the most advanced users. It contains the strongest active substances which maximise physical performance.

At first it should be emphasised that the supplement is not designed for begginers or intermediate athletes. It will be too strong for them and may cause side effects, including annoyance which makes it impossible to focus on training and decreases physical capacity.

There is no place here for poorly tested, pseudo-innovative ingredients with minor significance for the body. The product contains only active substances known for its enormous potential. They are in portions which ensures efficacy even in users resistant to the action of pre-workouts. Due to its optimal doses, they act in synergy, thereby maximising the effectiveness of the nutritional supplement. The formula contains:

Beta-alanine – an amino acid which is a precursor of carnosine on which it relies its main mechanism of action in the body. Carnosine may act as an acid-base buffer. In terms of physical performance, it helps prolong maximum efficiency of skeletal muscles by neutralising the action of lactic acid. Balancing the pH in the myocytes does not only help promote exercise capacity but also has a beneficial effect on regenerative processes by creating an optimal environment for these cells.

Agmatine sulphate – a compound which has a significant impact on the metabolism of nitrogen oxide (NO) in the body. By activating α2A receptor, it promotes NO synthesis. It shows thus much higher efficacy than arginine used also for this purpose. An increase in nitrogen oxide levels in the body may have a beneficial effect on cardiovascular function by increasing the lumen of blood vessels. It is associated with increased transport of blood to peripheral tissues and thus energy substances. As a result, muscles are nourished better and may therefore function more efficiently.
Taking agmatine before a workout may also be effective due to its neuromodulatory abilities.  The supplementation with this compound may reduce states of anxiety, relieve symptoms of depression and also have an analgesic effect.

Sodium nitrate – a compound which supports physical performance in two ways. Firstly, it provides nitrate which is supplemented to promote nitrogen oxide synthesis. The addition of sodium nitrate increases the product’s ability to boost arteriovenous blood flow. It helps get a feeling known commonly as muscle pump.
In addition, sodium nitrate provides also sodium ions which are a vital electrolyte. During physical activity, the human body loses minerals through sweat. Making up their deficiencies contributes to maintaining optimal water-electrolyte balance in the body which is necessary for preserving a physiological environment for metabolic reactions.

N-acetyl-tyrosine – a highly absorbed form of tyrosine which shows comprehensive stimulating properties as a precursor of many hormones and neurotransmitters. By taking part in the pathway synthesis of adrenaline and noradrenaline, tyrosine may promote their secretion which may have a stimulating effect on functions of the whole body. These hormones get body into the state of alertness which promotes metabolic processes for increasing physical performance.
Tyrosine is also a precursor of dopamine, a catecholamine which functions as a neurotransmitter. In the case of emotional functions, it is responsible for stimulating the motivation centre and may also increase cognitive functions. In relation to functioning of the motor system, dopamine is accountable for neuromotor coordination.
What is more, this amino acid is a precursor of thyroxine and triiodothyronine, hormones secreted by the thyroid. Their main role is to stimulate metabolic processes.

Choline bitartrate – a source of choline, a compound which is the precursor for acetylcholine, an extremely important excitatory neurotransmitter. Providing substrates for Ach production may promote their synthesis which results in improving neurotransmission. Choline is also vital to energy metabolism of the body. It is involved in the methylation process in which it serves as a donor of methyl groups. As a result, choline supplementation may increase the efficiency of energy production from nutrients by the body.

DMAE – dimethylaminoethanol, shows a mechanism of action similar to choline (it is also a precursor of acetylcholine), although it is more effective due to a greater ability to cross the blood-brain barrier. DMAE is used mainly to improve cognitive functions, memory and concentration. It demonstrates also the ability to speed up reaction time. In addition, dimethylaminoethanol has been shown to have a beneficial effect on emotional states.

Caffeine – for better efficacy, the supplement contains two forms of caffeine: citrate and anhydrous. It is the most commonly used stimulant. It has been used for ages to promote physical and mental capacity in the form of coffee and different kinds of tea. It owes its effectiveness due to unique mechanisms of action. It is a competitive inhibitor of adenosine, a factor which informs the body about fatigue. It binds to its receptors by restricting the access to them for adenosine, consequently blocking fatigue signals in the body.
Furthermore, caffeine is also a competitive inhibitor of cAMP-phosphodiesterase which converts cyclic adenosine monophosphate into its inactive non-cyclic form. As a result, caffeine boosts cAMP levels in the cell and thus promotes its metabolism. What is more, it enhances therefore the effectiveness of adrenaline in the body.

1,3-Dimethylamylamine – also called DMAA or geranium, is a stimulant with impressive potency (it is so effective that it was banned by WADA). It is an inhibitor of noradrenaline reuptake and thus promotes its stimulating effect in the body. It reduces fatigue, adds energy, promotes strength and physical endurance. It has also a positive impact on mental functions and increases mental clarity. DMAA supplementation may also promote well-being.

To sum up, Prime Nutrition PWO-MAX  is a strong agent which maximises your exercise capacity. It is designed for advanced athletes, insensitive to the action of standard pre-workouts. The supplement promotes comprehensively physical performance and increases the effectiveness of thought processes. It helps cross next training barriers and use the maximum potential of your body in the gym.

Sodium is an important component of the intracellular fluids, and is a regulator of acid-base balance. Along with potassium affects the proper of growth and provides the proper functioning of muscles and nerves. The source of acquisition is table salt (NaCl) and bladderwrack, shellfish, bacon, beef, and of plant beets and carrots. People on salt-free diet should avoid, among others, spicy sauces and smoked meats and sausages.
Sodium deficiency is very rare, at heaving sweating after a long effort (e.g. in the marathon).
Excess sodium increases blood pressure (especially for the elderly), edema and increased thirst. Exceeding the daily dose of 14g a day can cause poisoning.

Beta-alanine (β-alanine) is a β-amino acid (the same group to which the I-alanine belongs, but with different chemistries). In combination with histidine, it forms β-alanyl-L-histidine (carnosine) - a antioxidant, chelating and buffering compound. Carnosine reduces the level of hydrogen ions in the cell and allows to extend the physical performance and endurance, it affects biological recovery after exercise. Beta-alanine is available in the form of single component and advanced amino-acid supplements, creatine stacks and nitrogen boosters.

Agmatine sulfate

Agmatine sulfate is a compound of agmatine, and hence the substance resulting from the processing of arginine.
It meets the body's range of functions, including increases levels of nitric oxide responsible for vasodilation and thus improves blood circulation. It stimulates the release of growth hormone and testosterone. It increases the amount of nutrients delivered to the muscles, and normalizes blood glucose levels, thereby mimicking the operation characteristic of insulin; improves the functioning of the central nervous system; fights free radicals; reduces depot body fat, and also affects the metabolism of calcium, thus providing a better functioning of the heart, brain and muscles.
Dosage: 500-1500 mg, the best half an hour before training.

Tyrosine - endogenous amino acid (synthesized within the body), one of the 22 protein amino acids building. It occurs naturally in animal food products (eggs, dairy, meat). If the deficiency, it can be synthesized by hydroxylation of phenylalanine, capable of being converted to tyrosine in the liver. It is a precursor of neurotransmitters: dopamine (the group of catecholamines, participating in the processes occurring in the nervous system, causing muscle coordination and participates in the synthesis of many hormones) and noradrenaline (counteracting stress, stimulating the heart and circulatory system, and increasing glycogenolysis and lipolysis participating in the processes of energy transformations). Tyrosine is a precursor of thyroid hormones responsible for the rate of change in metabolic processes and pigment (melanin). In the supplementation, preparations containing tyrosine are used in programs reducing body fat (weight loss), improve mood and are stimulants.
Dosage: Customarily 500-2000 mg per day.

Choline Bitartrate

Choline bitartrate a combination of one molecule of tartaric acid and choline, and in this embodiment is a precursor of acetylcholine (neurotransmitter). The human body is able to intracellular synthesis of choline, using the amino acid and vitamin B12. Because of the possibility of shortages of the above mentioned substances, it is necessary to supplement them with supplementation. Choline is a component of lecithin, which is the building substance of cells conditioning the proper functioning of the nervous system, and sphingomyelin, acting as an insulator of nerve tissue. Bitartrate affects the course of fat metabolism. In the sports supplementation of choline, bitartrate is used in the stimulating supplements,, affecting concentration and programs of weight control (fat reduction).
Dosage: 1-3 grams per day.

Dimethylethanolamine (DMAE)

Dimethylethanolamine (DMAE) is an organic chemical compound, which in certain amounts is also present in the brain.

DMAE stimulates the secretion of acetylcholine - one of the most important neurotransmitters of the central nervous system. It is believed that it is a more effective acetylcholine precursor than choline. This is related to the fact that DMAE provided from outside effectively crosses blood-brain barrier.

As a precursor of acetylcholine and the compound counteracting the aggregation of the so-called “age pigment” (related to the drop of cognitive functions), this compound increases the ability to concentrate, improves psychomotor efficiency and positively influences well-being.

It is an ingredient of dietary supplement with nootropic effect. By applying DMAE, we may obtain the benefits in the form of better focus and alertness, mood improvement and effective memorization. As a dietary supplement, it is recommended to intellectually active people, those who lead an active lifestyle or are prone to frequent or strong stress.

Caffeine (1,3,7-trimethylxanthine, 1-methylotheobromine) is a purine alkaloid occurring in the natural state in plants (Coffea arabica, Camelia sinensis, Paulinia cupana, Ilex paraguariensis), which acts as a natural pesticide, acting toxic to insects. Peculiar smell and taste also deters herbivores. Caffeine in the body inhibits the adenosine receptors in the brain, fighting fatigue and allowing for action activation. It has a beneficial effect on the metabolism of oxygen, which increases the exercise capacity (strength and endurance) and rapid post-workout recovery. In the sports supplementation, caffeine is used as a stimulant nervous system. It has the thermogenic potential and in combination with other substances (e.g. Polyphenols, both occurring in coffee beans, such as cocoa beans, tea leaves and mate) can effectively participate in the reduction of body fat. It is included in many dietary stimulants (creatine stacks, no-boosters, beverages). It is a component of fat burners. It is also in the form of mono-preparation supplements.
Dosage: 100-600 mg per day. Due to the long release of activity should not be used in the evening, before

Geranamine (1,3-Dimethylamylamine HCl)

Geranamine (DMAA, 1,3-Dimethylamylamine) is a chemical compound containing a small amount of geranamine oil, obtained from geranium (Pelargoniom odorantissimum), ornamental plants planted in gardens and pots. It is an amine aliphatic affecting the activity of neurotransmitters (including catecholamine), providing stimulation of the body, it is also thermogenic. It improves the exercise capacity (strength and durability), especially used with the addition of caffeine and intellectual ability (e.g. enhances concentration and memory). It should not be used before the age of 18.
DMAA is widely used in sports
in stimulant supplementation (creatine stacks, no-boosters), improving the exercise capacity and as a component of fat burners. Also available in the form of mono-preparation supplement. In 2009 The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) placed Geranamine on the list of banned substances (doping).
