These are an easily digestible source of energy, supporting the insulin metabolism, supplementing muscle glycogen and that improving creatine and amino acid transport into cells muscle, influencing the increase in exercise capacity. In the sports supplementation preparations containing maltodextrin are used pre- and post-workout and as a complement to the energy value of food.
