PeptoPro® is an advanced peptide formula patented by the company DSM. It is produced from casein, contains 85% protein and is free of fats and lactose. It provides the complete set of 20 amino acids which are necessary for muscle protein synthesis. They occur as di- and tripeptides and that is why they practically do not require digestion and are absorbed immediately.

Studies have shown that PeptoPro® helps immediately deliver amino acids to muscles, even during intense exercise. It has been also demonstrated to boost muscle protein synthesis and stimulate post-workout release of insulin. Consequently, it beneficially influences endurance, promotes muscle growth and aids recovery.

Unlike ordinary casein, PeptoPro® have excellent solubility even in cold water. It is used most commonly in powder supplements.  The only disadvantage is its bitter taste. Because of that, nutritional supplements based on PeptoPro® usually contain sweeteners and colourings which diminish the unpleasant aftertaste.
