Tumeric extract - Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is a plant of Asian, from the ginger family with a strong odour, contains curcumin (in the form of desmethoxycurcumin, bisdesmethoxycurcumin), used as a dye (orange-yellow) for the food, e.g. with rice, hot and stinging flavour, fat- and alcohols-soluble (water insoluble) and polyphenols with high biological activity. The raw material is the rhizome of turmeric, also containing an essential oil. It is used for prophylactic treatment because it is anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antipyretic and cholagogic. Significantly increases thermogenesis, supporting fat reduction. Its activity in the treatment of cancer is confirmed. In the sports supplementation, its anti-inflammatory properties are used, as preparations to support the locomotor system (the so-called. regenerators of joints), herbal remedies with the thermogenic potential (often combined with ginger root) and protecting the liver, available at www.muscle-zone.pl
