Aliness Tokotrienols Complex PLUS is a dietary supplement with the patented EVNol Suprabio ™ complex, containing highly absorbed, natural compounds of vitamin E. The complex was obtained from raw virgin palm oil. EVNol Suprabio ™ is the only complex of this type that has been approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). The product additionally contains coenzyme Q10 and a mixture of carotenoids, which, similarly to vitamin E, display an antioxidant activity.
Vitamin E is actually a group of compounds – derivatives of tocopherols and tocotrienols - with similar activity and chemical structure (containing the skeleton of chromate). They are fat-soluble compounds. By definition, vitamin E must be delivered to the body with food.
Vitamin E – scavenger of free radicals
The most important function of vitamin E compounds is the antioxidant effect. Tocopherols are scavengers of free radicals, including singlet oxygen, lipid peroxides, and peroxide radicals, inhibiting their accumulation and deleterious effects on the body. One molecule is able to neutralize over 100 peroxide radicals (!). Once the tocopherols fulfill their antioxidative function, they are excreted from the body in urine.
Pro-health properties of vitamin E
The antioxidant activity of vitamin E underlies its other properties – stabilizing cellular membranes, preventing the development of civilization, metabolic and age-related diseases. Vitamin E compounds protect lipids, proteins and cellular DNA from oxidative damage. Literature data indicate the beneficial effect of vitamin E in case of fertility disorders (especially in men), neurodegenerative diseases, cardiovascular diseases, certain types of cancer and motor neuron disease.
"The Vitamin of youth"
Many clinical trials have confirmed the photoprotective effect of vitamin E, sealing the skin and slowing down its aging. Vitamin E compounds improve the elasticity of blood vessels and stabilize erythrocyte membranes, which results in better oxygenation of cells and faster regeneration of the skin. This vitamin may be helpful in skin problems, including acne.
Supporting the action of Vitamin E with coenzyme Q10
Coenzyme Q10 is a naturally occurring compound in the body. It is responsible for the transfer of electrons in one of the stages of cellular respiration in the mitochondria. As a result of this process, the necessary energy is generated in the form of ATP. Coenzyme Q10 shows strong antioxidant properties, similarly to vitamin E – in the lipid phase of the body. Therefore, these two compounds cooperate in the protection of cellular membranes against oxidative stress. Importantly, coenzyme Q10 can regenerate the "consumed" (oxidized) vitamin E, prolonging the duration of its activity.
Carotenoids – natural plant antioxidants
Carotenoids are antioxidant colorants naturally occurring in plants. Their antioxidant activity is based on a different mechanism compared to the one of vitamin E. Carotenoids are able to capture oxygen and chelate the ions involved in the formation of free radicals. This way, these compounds protect against the oxidation of LDL lipoprotein and cholesterol, reducing the risk of developing circulatory diseases. In addition, carotenoids strengthen eyesight and joints, have an anti-mutagenic effect, reduce inflammation, accelerate muscle regeneration and protect against collagen degradation.
In summary, Aliness Tokotrienols Complex PLUS is a dietary supplement containing a unique combination of natural substances strengthening and complementing each other's activities. The product supports the body's protection against excessive oxidative stress, which may be caused by environmental factors and lifestyle, including smoking, drinking alcohol, environmental pollution, high physical activity or a shortage of antioxidants in the diet.
The product is especially recommended for people who lead an intense and stressful lifestyle, to strengthen immunity, improve skin condition, support fertility in men and as a pro-health prophylaxis.
Demand for vitamin E increases with the consumption of polyunsaturated fatty acids found, among others, in fish and vegetable oils.
It is worth to combine Vitamin E with selenium supplementation. The substances display synergistic activity.

Vitamin E (tocopherol) is a fat soluble. Due to its antioxidant action, it is a protection of other vitamins (e.g. Vitamins A). Protects the body against free radicals, strengthens the walls of blood vessels and its capacity, causing their dilation and dissolution of blood clots. With the reduction of coagulation, it is used as an antiatherogenic medicine, it allows for the proper course of pregnancy. In cooperation with selenium it slows the ageing process of cells, strengthening connective tissue. In the food it is present in whole-grain bread, sprout and grains, vegetable oils (soybean, sunflower), soya beans and sunflower seeds, vegetable fat and hen egg yolks. Also it is used in sports medicine in the form of nutrients and supplements.
Vitamin E deficiency reduces building of red blood cells, results in changes in muscle and disorders of pregnancies.
Dosage: for children, 0.5 mg / 1 kg of weight; for adults 10-30 mg per day.
D-alpha-tocopherol – a natural form of vitamin E which is indicated as the most optimum for supplementation. It helps correct effectively deficiencies of this compound which is extremely crucial for the human body.
Vitamin E is a very important bioactive substance found in many tissues and required for normal functioning of the body. Its deficiencies may be manifested by impaired cognitive abilities and vision, muscle weakness and infertility. It is involved in erythropoiesis and that is why its low intake may lead to anaemia.
In addition, vitamin E has an important role as an antioxidant in the human body. It has the ability to reduce the amount of free radicals, thereby decreasing negative oxidative stress.
During supplementation with d-alpha-tocopherol, we should remember that it belongs to fat-soluble compounds, along with vitamin A, D and K. Because of that, supplements with vitamin E should be taken with a fat-containing meal.
Phytosterols are components of plant cell membranes with a construction resembling the construction of cholesterol. This group includes over forty compounds (including beta-sitosterol, campesterol, sitosterol and stigmasterol). Due to their similarity to cholesterol, they bind to intestinal cell receptors and block the absorption in the intestine and facilitate the excretion of cholesterol outside of the organism. Phytosterols absorption by the body does not exceed 5% and the remainings are excreted out of the body without side effects. Besides reducing total cholesterol, phytosterols influence the blood lipid profile, i.e. stabilizes levels of LDL and HDL cholesterol. Provides the proper functioning of cell membranes (in a similar way to the functioning of the human hormones). The effect of phytosterols on the inhibition of prostate hyperplasia has been observed. The source of acquisition phytosterols are vegetable oils, legumes, sesame and sunflower seeds, cereals and wholemeal bread. Plant sterols are increasingly being used in supplementation of athletes, which use their ability to increase exercise capacity and stimulation of muscle mass.
Dosage: The optimal dose is 2 grams of phytosterols per day (and cannot exceed 3g). Average consumption in Europe is much lower and amounts are a little more than 200 mg per day.
Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) is a physiological antioxidant, a fat soluble. It takes an active part in the process of creating the energy of ATP. intracorporeal synthesis requires the presence of B vitamins and trace elements, its intensification is caused by heavy training stress or under the influence of stress. Beneficial effects of Coenzyme Q10 has been found on the cardiovascular system, lipid profile (lowering LDL) cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease. Reducing the level of coenzyme Q10 starts when the age of 35, hence must be supplemented by preparations available in cosmetics (external action on the skin), and supplements intensifying the production of energy (for athletes strength) as well as mono-preparation supplement available at www.muscle-zone.pl.
