Description
  • Inositol in the form of two isomers: myo and D-chiro in a perfect ratio of 40:1
  • Capsules suitable for people on a vegan and vegetarian diet
  • Minimum of technological additives

Aliness Inositol myo/D-chiro is a dietary supplement containing inositol in the form of two highly bioavailable isomers with an ideal 40:1 ratio, available as vegan capsules.

Inositol is an organic chemical compound sometimes referred to as vitamin B8. It belongs to the group of sugar alcohols, has a slightly sweet taste, occurs in food, and is naturally produced in the human body. This compound contains six hydroxyl groups and their position determines the existence of nine stereoisomers of inositol.

Importance of inositol
Inositol is important for the human body. It is a building block of phosphatidylinositol, which is a precursor of important secondary messengers (e.g. IP3) and hormones ( GnRH and TSH). Thus, inositol is involved in insulin signal transduction, among other things.

Forms of inositol
Depending on the spatial configuration of the molecule, inositol exists in nine different chemical forms. And although they are similar to each other and have similar physical and chemical properties, they may exhibit different biological activities.

In nature, Myo-inositol is most commonly found and is considered to be the most valuable and highly bioavailable. However, the role of D-chiro-inositol, which is in balance with Myo-inositol, is increasingly emphasized. When deciding to supplement your diet with inositol from a supplement, it's worth making sure that it contains either the most desirable Myo-inositol isomer or both forms: myo and D-chiro, with a 40:1 ratio.

Inositol therapy
It is worth knowing that Myo-inositol has recently been used in women trying to conceive a child and to support therapy for polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). This compound is designed to restore optimal metabolic and endocrine parameters and ovulation regularity. It is recommended by experts of the Polish Gynecological Society, among others.

In summary, Aliness Inositol myo/D-chiro is a high-quality preparation with inositol. It contains the two most beneficial forms of this compound in an ideal quantity ratio. It is an optimal solution for women struggling with PCOS.
