Methyl B-12 & Methyl Folate Methyl B-12 & Methyl Folate

JARROW Methyl B-12 & Methyl Folate + P5P is a supplement composed of activated vitamins from the group B. Thanks to such well-thought composition, it is possible to quickly complete the level of these vitamins in the organism.

Vitamin B12 - it appears in the supplement in the form of active methylcobalamin. The vitamin, after reaching circulatory system is transported to the liver, where it gets activated. The presence of methylated form of cobalamin does not require the process of activation. Thanks to this, the ingredient, after being absorbed in the intestines, immediately starts to play its role in the organism.

Methylcobalamin, thanks to the ability to cross blood-brain barrier, shows the positive influence on the nervous system. Its neuroprotective influence and the effect slowing down aging processes in the nervous system have been proven. Methylcobalamin takes part in repairing damaged neurons and supports their proper functioning. It stems from the fact that it activates an enzyme – methionine synthase, thanks to which it helps to synthesize myelin sheath, constituting isolation for neurons. By causing the increase of the availability of S-Adenosyl methionine, it induces positive effect on the mood and counteracts depression.

It counteracts neurotoxicity caused by excessively high amount of a neurotransmitter – glutamate in the nervous system. Moreover, it supports the production of many neurotransmitters, thanks to which it positively affects mood and memory. By taking part in melatonin synthesis, it supports proper sleep.

Along with vitamin B6, it effectively decreases the level of homocysteine both in the circulatory system, as well as in the nervous system, thanks to which it demonstrates protective effect on blood vessels.

Methylcobalamin strengthens the activity of the immune system and fights with aging factors already at the cellular level.

By activating methionine synthase, it supports the production of red cells, thanks to which it supports the functioning of the whole organism. Moreover, it supports the synthesis of nitrogen bases, appearing in the genetic code.

Folic acid  (methylated folic acid), also called vitamin B9. The form containing methyl group is absorbed easier in the intestines and moreover it does not have to undergo activation in the liver in order to positively influence the functioning of the organism. The presence of the methyl group supports the process of methylation in the organism, which in the current times is impaired almost in all people. It stems from stress and lifestyle that we lead.

Methylfolate demonstrates a positive influence on memory and cognitive functions, thanks to the fact that it has the ability to cross blood-brain barrier. Proper supplementation with this vitamin supports the production of serotonin, dopamine, noradrenaline and methionine, which constitute important neurotransmitters in the nervous system. Thanks to this, it supports the creation of short-term memory, falling asleep and significantly improves mood.

Along with other vitamins from this group, it influences the reduction of homocysteine level, thanks to which it shows protective effect on blood vessels and inhibits the creation of atherosclerotic plaques.

The supplementation with folic acid during pregnancy is especially vital, as it supports proper development of the fetus.

Vitamin B6 appearing in the form of pyridoxal 5-phosphate is used in the organism to activate hundreds of enzymes. As all vitamins from this group, it is soluble in water, which makes it practically non-toxic, as its surplus is removed from the organism along with urine.

After the absorption in the intestines it combines with plasma albumin, which transports it to the tissues, thanks to which they exhibit a range of positive effects on the organism.

It supports the creation of dopamine by converting its precursor, which is L-Dopa. Moreover, it supports serotonin production.

I takes active part in the creation of the molecule of heme which is an important component of erythrocytes, thanks to which it is responsible for its appropriately high level in the organism.

The influence of this vitamin on the metabolism of carbohydrates and amino acids has also been proven.

JARROW Methyl B-12 & Methyl Folate + P5P (B6) is appropriate for everybody and especially for active people, who have higher needs for microelements and vitamins. The supplement hides in itself optimal doses of active forms of vitamins B12, B9 and B6, thanks to which quick complement of deficits will be possible as well as maintaining the functioning of the organism at the optimal level.

Vitamin B6

Information

Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine, pyridoxal, pyridoxamine) is soluble in the liquid. It participates in the metabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. By reducing the amount of fat in the blood do not enable deposition of the body. It helps the absorption of magnesium and vitamin B12 (cobalamin). It works on the muscle antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory pain in the joints. It acts anti. It provides efficient operation of the brain. It increases energy increasing vigor of a man. The demand for vitamin B6 increases during pregnancy and breast-feeding infants. The natural product is: yeast, eggs, wheat germ, meat (liver), wheat bran, nuts, peanuts peanuts, soybeans. There is a hypothesis that can be synthesized by intestinal bacteria.
Deficiency of vitamin B6 causes abnormal metabolism of proteins, decrease in lymphocytes in the blood, causes a feeling of lethargy and fatigue intensifies.
Dosage: 1.5-2.5 mg daily (increased demand during pregnancy and lactation).

Quatrefolic

Information

Quatrefolic is the glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate and also an active form of folic acid. It is an innovative nutrient (fourth generation folate) which is well soluble in water and thus absorbed effectively by the body. As an organic compound ranked among B vitamins, it is necessary for normal functioning at the cellular level.

Adding folates to a diet is recommended especially to pregnant and lactating women. These compounds may contribute to healthy foetal development. According to studies, their intake may reduce the incidence of pregnancy complications.

Some sources report that folate supplementation supports cardiovascular function (blood production) and contribute to healthy immune function.

Quatrefolic may affect the metabolism of homocysteine whose levels increase in the body over time. Adding it to a diet may thus prevent the development of dementia and maintain healthy cognitive functions which is vital to adults, especially the elderly.

Salt

Information

Salt (sodium chloride, or table salt), natural source of electrolytes (chlorine and potassium), regulating water and electrolyte and acid-base balance of the body, affecting the nervous system and blood pressure. Sodium is an essential element for the proper growth. The proper dose of salt prevents overheating of the body and solar stroke. It provides the proper functioning of muscles and nerves the body. Chlorine in combination with sodium, is involved in the digestive process and maintains acid-base balance in the body, as antitoxin removes toxic products of metabolism in the liver. Salt is a flavour component and preservative of many foods, nutritional supplements and mixtures of electrolytes, available at www.muscle-zone.pl

Dosage: no specific standards of consumption, used so as to provide sufficient amount of electrolytes to the body (sodium and chloride).

Methylcobalamin

Information

What is methylcobalamin?

Methylcobalamin is a biologically active form of vitamin B12. It is one of the two forms of this vitamin that may be used as cofactors in various reactions. It differs from popular cyanocobalamin in the presence of methyl group instead of cyanide, thanks to which it releases the organism from the need of neutralizing this harmful factor.

The methyl group from methylcobalamin may be transferred to homocysteine, thanks to which it comes back in the form of methionine in order to be further converted to SAMe, which is the main donor of methyl groups in our organism. These methyl groups may be then used in the processes of creatine production, in neurotransmitter metabolism and as DNA methylation, thanks to which we achieve proper energy level, better well-being and generally better condition of the organism. B12 is a coenzyme for three enzymes: isomerase, methyltransferase and dehalogenase.

Apart from the influence on the nervous system, the supply of vitamin B12 is also very important for the proper synthesis of red cells as well as hemoglobin and anemia prevention.

Methylcobalamin in mono-supplements and complex vitamin preparations may be found in the offer of muscle-zone.pl.
